PPARy - представитель семейства ядерных стероидных рецепторов

PPARy ? peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor относится к семейству ядерных стероидных рецепторов, куда также входят рецепторы прогестерона, эстрогенов, витамина D, рецепторы глюкокортикоидов и минералкортикоидов, андрогенов, ретиноевой кислоты, тиреоидных гормонов. Лигандами ядерных стероидных рецепторов являются стероиды, ретиноиды, витамин D, тиреоидный гормон, простаноиды и холестероловые метаболиты (оксистеролы и желчные кислоты). Их комбинированные эффекты огромны, они влияют на каждый фундаментальный биологический процесс, от развития и гомеостаза до клеточной пролиферации и дифференцировки.
