On January 1, 2023, Head of the Diabetes Prediction and Innovation Department of the Endocrinology Research Centre, the leader of the public patient organization «Russian Diabetes Association», Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander Mayorov, died at the age of 59.
