Abstract
Смертность от ИБС в популяции лиц, страдающих сахарным диабетом 2 типа (СД 2), продолжает расти во всем мире, несмотря на постоянное увеличение расходов на лечение и профилактику сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний у больных сахарным диабетом. Высокий риск сосудистых осложнений при СД 2 типа дал основание Американской кардиологической ассоциации причислить диабет к сердечно-сосудистым заболеваниям.
