Исполнительный комитет Международной ассоциации по менопаузе разработал положение, пред? ставленное на 4-й рабочей встрече Международной ассоциации по менопаузе в декабре 2003 г. В данном положении был представлен современный обзор всей доступной информации из наблюдательных, рандомизированных и доклинических исследований. В феврале 2004 г. Исполнительным комитетом Международной ассоциации по менопаузе было утверждено информационное послание, адресованное врачам-специалистам и научным работникам, занимающимся проблемами лечения и профилактики проявлений менопаузального синдрома у женщин старшей возрастной группы и использующих в повседневной практике ЗГТ.
