Диабетическая ретинопатия (ДР) - позднее неспецифическое осложнение сахарного диабета (СД) 1 и 2 типов, представляющее собой поражение в сетчатки. На возникновение и прогрессирование ДР могут влиять разнообразные факторы, что объясняет большую вариабельность данных разных исследовательских групп, изучающих поражение сетчатки, вызванное диабетом.
