Большинство случаевхронической болезни почек (ХБП) у больных СД обусловлено диабетической нефропатией (ДН). Снижение функции почек, развивающеесяна поздних этапах ДН, cопровождается сложными изменениями регуляции углеводного обмена и, как правило, требует коррекции са-хароснижающей терапии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a leading cause of renal insufficiency in developed countries. Most cases of chronic renal disease in DM patients are dueto diabetic nephropathy.
