Заболевание до определенного момента носит скрытыйхарактер, что обусловливает позднее выявление и, соответственно, несвоевременное лечение. Это приводит к высокой частоте сосу-дистых осложнений, ранней инвалидизации и смертности больных. В этой связи становится актуальным повышение качества прово-димых скрининговых обследований населения по выявлению нарушений углеводного обмена. Использование теста на определениегликированного гемоглобина HbA1c представляется наиболее информативным и экономически обоснованным. Вместе с этим ключевоезначение приобретает выбор способа измерения гликогемоглобина (HbA1c). Он должен быть стандартизован по референсной методике -высокоэффективной жидкостной хроматографии, в соответствии с результатами исследований DCCT и UKPDS.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Type 2 diabetes mellitus is rising at an epidemic scale throughout the world. Up to a certain moment, DM2 develops as a latent pathology which accounts for its late diagnosis and onset of therapy. Hence, the high frequency of vascular complications, early disablement and mortality. Therefore, the improvement of screening studies is of primary importance for the detection of metabolic disorders. At present, HbA1c determination is the most informative and cost-effective tool for the purpose. The choice of the method for measuring HbA1c is a paramount consideration.
