Наиболее предпочтительными в этом отношении являются препараты компании Берлин-Хеми/Менарини, поставляющей на наш рынок как средство первого выбора для начала пероральной сахароснижающей терапии ? метформин (Сиофор?), так и наиболее эффективный ПСМ второй генерации ? глибенкламид (Манинил? в микронизированной форме), назначение которого показано для интенсификации сахароснижающей терапии в комбинации с Сиофором?.
