Единственным классом сахароснижающих препаратов, который, помимо эффективной коррекции гипер-гликемии, обладает доказанным эффектом по снижению веса, являются миметики инкретинов. Эксенатид (Баета) - первый препаратэтого класса, одобренный к применению в монотерапии. В статье представлен детальный обзор материалов по профилю действия пре-парата и результаты клинических исследований, подтверждающих высокую эффективность Баеты при СД2, как в комбинированной,так и в монотерапии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Obesity associated with the enhanced risk of cardiovascular disorders plays a key role in the evolvement and progression of type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM2). Incretin mimetics are the sole class of hypoglycemic agents that not only effectively correct hyperglycemia but also reduce body weight. Exenatide(Byetta) is the first drug of this class approved for the use as monotherapy.
