    Поражения нижних конечностей при сахарном диабете — сложная и актуальная проблема современной медицины. Высокая распространенность сахарного диабета (СД), значительные трудности своевременной диагностики, дифференциальной диагностики и выбора лечебной тактики, позволяющей сохранить опорную функцию конечности, определяют сложности в ведении лиц с нарушением углеводного обмена. За последние десятилетия произошли значимые изменения в структуре оказания специализированной медицинской помощи пациентам с синдромом диабетической стопы, что позволило значимо снизить количество высоких ампутаций, улучшить качество и продолжительность жизни пациентов. В статье представлены результаты многолетнего опыта отделения диабетической стопы ФГБУ «НМИЦ эндокринологии» в лечении данной категории больных.

Lesions of the lower extremities in diabetes mellitus are a complex and urgent problem of modern medicine. The high prevalence of diabetes mellitus, significant difficulties in timely diagnosis, differential diagnosis and the choice of therapeutic tactics to preserve the supporting function of the limb determine the difficulties in managing diabetic patients. Over the past decades, significant changes have occurred in the structure of specialized medical care for diabetic foot patients which has significantly reduced the number of high amputations, improved the quality and life expectancy of patients. The article presents the results of the long-term experience of the Diabetic Foot department in the treatment of diabetic foot patients.
